For that matter taco flavored anything I love!
Go search my site for "taco" and you will find some of my all-time favorite taco recipes. I say we have a taco something at least once a week!
TheseOven Baked Beef Tacos are so simple to make and if you have a large crowd to feed they are simple to toss in the oven and have made for guest.
Don't shy away from them though I love making them for just my family and we all love them.
How to make Oven Baked Beef Tacos:
Step one: Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare a casserole dish by lightly spraying cooking spray and then placing taco shells standing up into the dish.
Tip: Use a 3 quart casserole dish.
Step two:Next cook and crumble ground beef in a skillet. Once it's fully cooked drain the fat and then add your salsa, taco seasoning, and rinsed and drained black beans. Mix together well on low heat until heated through.
Step three: Once your filling is prepared go ahead and spoon this bean and beef mixture to each taco. Top each taco with shredded cheese and bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and taco shells cooked.
Tip: To hep your tacos to stand when filling I use a taco shell with a flat bottom.
Step four: Remove from oven and top shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes or your favorite taco toppings.
Serving Options:
These tacos make the perfect dinner. I love serving my homemade salsa, cilantro lime rice, or fiesta taco dip as a side with this dinner.
If you love this recipe you can also make it with differentfillings. Skip the beef for just a bean and cheese taco or try my recipe for Baked Chicken Tacos.
