These yummy giant chocolate jazzies take just minutes to make and would be a perfect quick and easy Christmas gift idea!

In the run up to Christmas this year I've got several recipes to share with you for easy homemade Christmas gifts that children can make. These are all very quick and easy to make and perfect for children to help with or even make themselves.

Today's homemadegift idea is giant chocolate jazzies, a fun recipe that is always a massive hit with the children in my family!

Every year I make up little hampers of homemade sweets for my family, it's become a tradition! Last year I shared my recipe for 2 ingredient fudgehere on the blog, and earlier this year I also shared my recipe for raspberry coconut ice (I've got the recipe for a plain version coming soon too), but today I've got a recipe for extra easy giant chocolate jazzies to share with you.

Be sure to check out my recipe video so you can see just how easy these are to make, and look out for more fun chocolate gift recipe ideas in the video too!

These are so easy even a toddler could make them, they are a great way to use up melted chocolate from other projects too and you can easily make them dairy free by using a dairy free dark chocolate in the place of the milk chocolate.

I just made a batch of milk chocolate jazzies for this post, but you could also use white or dark chocolate or a combination of all three if you need a lot of them. These make a great last minute teacher gift idea!

Giant Chocolate Jazzies

Ingredients:

  • 200g good quality milk chocolate
  • 1 pack of sprinkles

Method:

Lay out 12 silicone cups onto a small baking tray or plate.

Break up the chocolate and pop it in a microwave safe bowl. Melt the chocolate by cooking at30 second intervals in the microwave, stirring in between each time. Take care not to burn it!

Once melted and lump free, drop a spoonful of chocolate into each of the silicone cups.

Once all the chocolate has been used up, tap the tray or plate with the silicone cups on onto your work surface to get rid of any air bubbles and to smooth out the layer of chocolate in each cup.

Pour the sprinkles into a bowl (I used some red green and white hundreds & thousands which I found in the pound shop but any sprinkles would work), then sprinkle a generous layer on top of the chocolate.

Place the tray or plate into the fridge to set forhalf an hour or so. It helps if the chocolate is really cold for the next step.

Pop the jazzies out of each of the silicone cups and if you're giving them as gifts, wrap them up. These look lovely in little cupcake boxes or cellophane bags tied with a pretty ribbon.

Store them in the fridge or somewhere fairly cool.
